Shopping center west of Boca Raton is sold

Federal Realty Investment Trust of Rockville, Md., said Monday it paid $41.7 million in cash for Del Mar Village, a Winn-Dixie anchored shopping center west of Boca Raton.
The 154,000-square-foot center is at the intersection of Palmetto Park Road and
Powerline Road.
The seller was
Boca Raton-based Woolbright Development Inc., which paid $30 million for the
center in 2005, according to Palm Beach County
property records.
This is Federal Realty's first center in Florida.
Its portfolio includes 18.4 million square feet of properties primarily in the
Northeast, Mid-Atlantic region and California.

Town Center at Boca Raton, is a very large, "high-end" enclosed shopping
